So, as you may have read elsewhere, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been cancelled for Linux and Mac. Which is kind of a damn shame, because
oh look, it doesn't seem to have any issues on Proton. So I am a little doubtful of these "middleware" claims. If I had to bet, I'd bet that they've picked some crappy DRM for online gameplay, maybe even EAC, that will block them from releasing on Linux, and decided that pissing off their Linux and Mac backers is fine because sales will be made up by Switch supporters.
Glad I was able to crowdfund a Nintendo platform by theft, tho!
