Christ on a bike, this was the stupidest thing they could do.
Yes, I backed for the PS4, but this hurts ME too - not just because part of my backer funds were supposed to go towards making a real physical release for everybody - but because the backlash from this will hurt Kickstarter the most, and all the nostalgia-based goodwill Ys.Net was getting is completely gone. Mue 4? LOL, yeah right - everyone will remember what happened and it will sell terribly, and it'll be another 16 years before Mue 5.
It's not Star Wars, dude. 1 and 2 were incredible. If 3 sucks as bad as this business-decision makes it seem like it will, there will never be a Mue 4. :(

Everything being served on CC is now 100% 64-bit code. (yeah I know, but if it ain't broke...)
Also, Kanboard was discarded in favor of an integrated kanban board system, since nobody else is using it.

Maybe as a Linux gamer I'm more used to having a stack of stores/launchers for playing games - Overwatch, for instance, goes Steam->Lutris->Battle.net->Overwatch for me - so I don't really care too much about Epic's store. Also, running under WINE drastically limits their ability to steal data, too.
That said, the Heavy Rain demo runs on Lutris - which is interesting, but I'd rather have Detroit: Become Human.
To do this, just tweak the DXVK settings in Epic Game Store's launcher to use DXVK 1.2.2. Game runs, choppy a little, with sound and speech.

Well, now that's quite the "middleware issue" isn't it? Seems to me the game runs just fine on Proton and Wine...
And a windowed-mode desktop shot (with the game's process highlighted in system monitor) as more proof this runs just fine, but ANYONE can set this up and try it.
Platinum ratings coming in on ProtonDB, too.
Fuckers.

It's painful watching people sell out, especially when they're people you honestly admired and thought would be above it. After today's Epic Store Exclusivity announcement, I'm gravely disappointed in Ys.Net and Deep Silver.
Someone at Kickstarter really needs to step up and start defending backers, or there won't be any backers left to defend, and KS, as well as the smaller indie projects it was actually meant for, are going to be the ones that suffer.

It's running pretty nicely so far, though there was a strange thing with the USB-C dock I have all my desktop shit plugged into, but that seems to have passed.
Will try some games once I'm done work today.
