I really, REALLY hate getting abuse over how inadequate my job of cleaning up some dumbass Windows-developer's attempt to write Linux driver code is. It's like blaming the janitor for the mess the college party left.
You know what? I'm SORRY I missed a doubled tab out of 23,000 lines of someone else's code. Excuse me doubly for being pissed off that people in other companies (that will remain nameless) take $500 an hour to tell us how wrong this crap is, but won't spend 10 minutes actually trying to fix any of it. Excuse me triply for being furious that managers need to crash our tech meetings to "rein in" the amount of time I'm spending on this shit.
I wouldn't have had to do it in the first place if any of these managers had given a shit about Linux back when they started writing this crap.
I need to fucking hit something.
